Proud to Introduce Brett Norris
Before joining Fox Law in 2023, Brett served over 14 years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California, where he diligently represented the federal government in a broad range of cases, including personal injury, employment discrimination, and eminent domain actions. Brett was promoted to Deputy Chief/second-in-command of the Civil Division in 2018 and was responsible for supervising a team of Assistant U.S. Attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, in addition to carrying his own case load. During his time at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Brett consistently obtained favorable results for his clients and prevailed in nearly a dozen bench and jury trials. Brett received recognition for his work as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, receiving the John R. Neece Award for excellence, diligence, and integrity, and earning a Special Commendation from the Department of Justice.
Law Clerk to Attorney – Stephen Dolar
Stephen began working at Fox Law during his third year of law school and has been with the firm ever since. His practice focuses on the firm’s personal injury and mass tort cases, building the strongest possible case for clients who have been harmed.
Stephen attended law school at the University of San Diego School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor in 2021. During law school, he was a member of the San Diego Journal of Climate and Energy Law, Student Bar Association, and Pride Law. Stephen pursued his passion for helping others by interning with the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, honed his litigation skills at the San Diego City Attorney’s Office – Civil Division, and then improved his writing and research abilities by serving as a judicial extern for Judge Wohlfeil.
